I grew up watching the Food Network, with Good Eats teaching me early that cooking is about understanding, not just following instructions. I learned in the kitchen alongside my parents, though I was always happiest at the grill. In college, I got my first taste of professional cooking while working at a standout Korean restaurant. This was an experience that cemented my belief in the power of technique-driven flavor.
