Step-by-step:

  1. Garlic & Lemon – choose your favorite method to process garlic. Add juice from half of a lemon to minced garlic to mellow.
  2. Measure Yogurt & Mayo – To get a creamier sauce use 1/4 cup of yogurt and 1/2 cup of mayo. Also if yogurt isn’t a staple in your kitchen substitute with sour cream.
  3. Blend & Bottle – Don’t forget to salt and pepper before blending.

This is the kind of sauce garlic lovers keep in the fridge and find excuses to use. It’s bold without being harsh, creamy without being heavy, and comes together in about the time it takes to decide what to put it on. A few cloves of garlic do the talking, softened just enough by a squeeze of lemon to take the edge off while keeping that unmistakable garlicky bite front and center.

The base is a simple blend of yogurt and mayonnaise, giving you the best of both worlds, rich and smooth, with a little tang to keep things lively. It’s the sort of sauce that feels at home on just about anything: roasted vegetables, grilled meats, grain bowls, sandwiches, soups, or straight off the spoon if no one’s looking. A pinch of salt and pepper is all it needs to pull everything together.

What makes this sauce especially lovable is how forgiving it is. Adjust the balance to your taste, swap in sour cream if that’s what you have, and blend it smooth in minutes. No cooking, no waiting, no fuss, just a quick, versatile garlic sauce that earns a permanent spot in your kitchen rotation.
